Bathroom renovation

Hello guys,

almost 2 months ago, me and my partner decided that we had enough of the turquoise walls, and we want a
mixer tap w/t cabinet with some good space on it (our bathroom is
small).

We bought our first house on December 2013 in Carrigaline, 15km from Cork in the south west of Ireland. We are both Italians living in Ireland almost for 5 years :).

We were on budget, so we couldn't do major works, such as like new shower tiles, etc.

So we went to Ikea, and got the new basin and cabinet, new mirror. Then we start to think of new wall colors and new floor.

And finally we finished the renovation of our bathroom!!!

I have still to finish the last touches like towels/accessories.

Really nice and so happy that Houzzers helped you out! think the colour is a huge improvement - the space has gone from cold to warm.

i really like your basin unit and the colour is lovely and smouldering, no cocoon like - i dont know! it looks like it gets a lot of natural light.

switch the shower curtain for a glass shower screen (£70 on eBay) and it will really open up the bathroom.

If you buy the tiles on the internet from Spain, for example, you could find a very good deal and if you are not able to DIY maybe some relative o "il nonno" could come over and give you a hand. I have the same thing as you in my bathrom ( also in ireland) 2 single tiles on top of the basin...!! and I am from Spain...Apart from that I love the new colour and everything else.

Thank you guys for the suggestion. About the shower glass we dedice not to do since hopefully with the next project we will remove the bath tube and replace it with a nice big shower.

about the tiles same thing as above, we will do it when we remove that bath tube. But I will keep in mind the Spanish tiles...maybe I will borrow a "nonno" from some neighbours ;-)
