My first thought was the eKornes reclining sofas. Many of the european brands including Natuzzi have reclining sofas.

I just bought a Lazy boy leather reclining sofa. For the pure purpose of looks no it is not my ideal sofa but comfort now has trumped out design. I have a leather power recliner by Lazy boy and I love it. I have bad arthritis and it makes sitting and watching tv or a movie possible.

We have a leather sofa and love seat by Lazyboy, each having two recliners. They are not as modern as I've have liked, but we wanted that brand for their warranty and they happened to be real leather everywhere. No fake stuff.

Below is a picture I grabbed online that's like ours. I think it looks better in person, or maybe it's just that it's not so shiny anymore, but I don't have a good photo of it on my laptop. The style is Reese.

Stickley has a beautiful, classic looking, non-stuffy reclining sofa where the back stays stationary so it just looks like a regular sofa when not in use. It's the 400 "Motion" series. It comes in a wide range of configurations from single sofa to sectional, plus you have choices on the arm style and back cushion style. It'll cost ya, though.

Oh, and Thomasville has at least one semi-reclining style that comes in various configurations with pop-out leg/foot rests.

Arhaus has at least two sofa or sectionals that come in reclining configurations. They aren't shown that way, so you have to find out by talking to someone about options. The Hadley and the Brentwood can be ordered with recliners. They are shown in leather, non-reclining versions -- I don't know if they can be ordered in fabrics or if they have different fabric options.

thank you so much for these ideas. I plan to go to Lazy Boy this weekend as we have a store nearby. Also like the Best. I went to a store last night that sells that brand but didn't see the ones listed here.

We did like this one . . it is small which would fit in our room, has a matching love seat, it is really comfy, priced well. It will be near our kitchen with white cabinets and darker gray wood-look porcelain tile, so hoping the color will work.

That's funny Toriat. We are very happy with ours. Fall asleep snuggling in the love seat recliner almost every night hubby is home.
