Replacing garden tub

I'm looking to replace a 15 year old garden tub. It has been a disappointing addition. I do enjoy the garden tub depth and space for soaking, however the acrylic material did not hold up. It has scratched and pitted. It's difficult to clean and hard to get into ( the decking is difficult to negotiate. Any suggestions for replacing it with different styles and materials?

I have no idea why it would scratch or pit that is a mystery. I love my acrylic tub it is awesome and so easy to clean as for garden tubs I figure whoever came up with that idea never cleaned a bathroom. There are some awesome soaker tubs available and in different materials . I like acrylic in a renovation because they are light weight I use Maax tubs a lot in my design biz and find them very good quality for a decent price . Hope you find something you love.
