This was a plain wooden door we painted in a semi gloss...If you look at the Q & A I have the combination of reds I used if you want to try it out:))

I see you used Sunrise Red, here in Canada we have Regal Red is it the same colour just renamed? Also, the Rustoleum is an oil based paint - if you mixed this with the Sherwin Williams did it not have to be an oil based paint too because you can't mix oil with latex right?

Not sure if Regal Red is renamed?..... and actually Rustoleum comes in a variety of options-- we used a latex that was off the shelf pre mixed. Good Luck:)
