Tile installer did not know what he was doing and I ended up with very uneven tile. Tile is long and skinny plank style so there are many areas where corners are sticking up higher on one piece of tile than the one next to it. Major complication is that kitchen cabinets are already installed on top of the tile and cannot be removed. Should we rip up the part that is not under the cabinet and have better installer install the same tile? Should we tile over the existing uneven tile using a self leveler and retile with a more forgiving size of tile?
