revamp my kitchen

I changed my appliance to stainless steel. So white cabinets look out of place now. What color cabinets should i go with?

I don't think it is out of place. I would use a backsplash that would bring it all together and give the room a real signature look. This backsplash takes into account your wall color, counter top and appliances and will give a very polished finished look. You will then view your appliances as "fitting in".

I suspect what you were use to is fighting with what you have. White cabinets and stainless is classic. I agree that adding a backsplash will take your kitchen to a new level! White subway is a safe choice!

They look out of place simply because you've made such a change with the new appliances. Clear off the counter somewhat & the tops of the cabinets & install some light gray glass subway tile for the backsplash, Be sure to install under cabinet LED lighting & enjoy the changes.

What may be "fighting" is the warm tan on the wall now that you've added the "gray" of the stainless steel. Find a backsplash to fall in love with and then paint the walls to work with it.
