I kept the big mirror where it is and am still looking for one to put over the sink. I've been to every Home Goods in my area and I can't find one that fits and is simple with a chanpagnr or silver finish. I thought a rectangular one would be the easiest to find! Ha!

Go to a framing shop for your over the sink mirror! Pick your frame and give them your finished size measurements.

Great idea Betty, thank you! I will definitely look into that! That being said, should I frame the chandelier pic too? It's canvas and I'm not sure the color is too close to the wall color or if it will be ok hanging it as is...

I love the wall colour and the mirror as it is. I would let the mirror be the star of the show. The vanity light that you have really don't work - I'd find a new smaller one[maybe in gold] to enhance the mirror. Maybe add sparkle w/ your accessories ie: clear "crystal " towel bar , TP etc.

Rugs and toilets are a bad combination. You don't need a rug in a powder room.

Ok, phew one less thing to decide on ;-)

If you use the chandelier picture, choose the first towel, or the third towel. Being a classy powder go with the first one. the 3rd one would be better suited as a guest "use" towel. Match the embriaodery to the towel that you pick. AS said early about the mirror over the Vanity. Either go to the frame shop and fall in love with a frame style and change the light & plumbing fixtures or. go to a glass supplier and get a mirror with a beveled edge trim mirror on top. There are also some on thicker mirrors like this thru wayfair, however they maybe too large. NO rug, too small of a space, can be a safety/ tripping hazard and only collect dirt and fuzz. But Defintly the Chandiler picture with a thin to medium width frame.

Also, did you do anything with the table situation under the wall mirror? Maybe do a picture update for all of us please?

@Alt 3D Dude, i have 17 1/2" between bottom of gold mirror and floor. Should I look for a bench that's that low or put a small bench in the left corner, angled? I found some pics of the style I was thinking, yay or nay?

Yes, too high. Hang it lower than the top of the mirror. And remember that art goes at eye level and you'll be viewing this sitting down.

I think a more dramatic faucet might make a lot of difference. I love the Brizzo Virage widespread faucet that is super easy to keep clean. It is available In Several finishes, but my favorite is the sleek chrome. Classic and timeless.

One of my favorite restaurant powder rooms had filled every inch of wall with vintage mirrors in all different shapes and sizes with interesting and ornate frames, all spray painted gold. Unfortunately the restaurant went out of business or I'd take a photo for you.

I love the mirror. Not so in love with the picture AND the mirror- I'd personally go with a set of maybe 3 smaller prints in gold frames to carry through the motif.

@bradley_amber, I would love more might but I only have 19" between bottom of big gold mirror and the floor. Also, there no outlet near that area :-( Thank for the suggestion though :-)

How about trying the mirror on the wall opposite the toilet where your son is holding up the print. Hang it high enough so as to avoid the toilet. This way, you can enjoy it's beauty, but where it presently is....shows the toilet from the door. I like the print...no frame needed if you choose to keep it. I just opened an ad from,Pottery Barn...sale on so many mirrors..frameless and one square framed in gold Chinese bamboo. Good luck....room will be pretty.

PS to above...find a pretty SMALL trash can......found at bath stores.... I have mine behind the door. It is only seen when someone is using the room.

Gold is probably the way to go......check out Pottery barn website.....sale on mirrors and a variety to chose from.

@R M -- yes, I Checked out the beautiful gold bamboo you suggested but it was too big, wouldn't fit into the space even if I tried :-( My sink is 27" wide and I have 39" between sink and light fixture. I was thinking about the rimless mirror with the monogram on top as a possibility too...thoughts?

Do you all have a preference of which chandy pic I should use? I was thinking the blue one added too much blue to the powder room. Thoughts?

UPDATE! I decided to go the glam route with a dramatic wall pattern and replace the vanity light. I would love your help with finding a mirror, art and flooring options to complete my powder room. Thanks a bunch!

Just to let you know, we weren’t planning to replace the floor but the wallpaper company who installed the wallpaper, accidentally scraped up the floor. Their insurance has decided to pay for the replacement. I’m thinking marble but not sure what color or patter would go with the glam look...
