Our new house is currently all white. We are planning to paint our living room light grey and have a stairwell/wall that is part of the living room. We don't think we want the grey upstairs and want to ensure there is a smooth transition of colors. We are struggling to decide if we should keep the wall on the stairwell white or paint it grey. The wall on the stairwell continues into the upstairs. We are curious to hear how others have transitioned colors in similar situations or if anyone knows of pictures for ideas.
