I think you are asking too much of this room. The room is too small and there is too much furniture for you to move around easily. I'd eliminate the lego table since there is not enough room between it and the chair in the main seating area. It also seems to intrude into the doorway. The desk and chair are too close to the sofa. Also you need at least three feet rather than two feet for a walkway between the back of the sofa and the shelving unit.

Also, what is in the lower left corner?

Where are you purchasing the furniture? Most good furniture retailers have designers on staff who can assist you in selecting pieces to best fit in your room and function the way you want to use the room.

• Kids have huge creations on the lego table that they have built over the years. Not ready to give up.....
• Opening by lego table is a window. Door is in the lower left.
• Perhaps I could eliminate the tv unit and put mount tv on the wall?
• Also wondering about a smaller coffee table.
