Such a pity- sure sounds like the contractor is at fault- how could he possibly think you would want that in one room? Unless it really bothers you, I would leave it be. Are you getting window blinds, shades or drapes or will they just be there to let the light in?

I'd try to get the contractor to fix it because they will never look right as is. Sorry!

I know it doesn't look right ---- I'm just so frustrated. I don't want a big fight with the contractor and have to fire him right in the middle of the project! I'm hoping that he comes back to us next week and says that he will absorb the costs of the sashes. If he doesn't, we may not have any choice! I thought that maybe I could put plantation shutters on the 4 over 4 windows but then that defeats the idea of a sunroom!!

Wrong is wrong, he's responsible. Who ever heard of 4/4 and 6/6 in same room. He made the mistake, he needs to fix it.
