Can you please tell me the species and grade of the wood flooring and the finish/stain used? Thanks.

It looks like Herringbone Character White Oak with an oiled finish. Maybe something similar to Rubio Monocoat. We use it in our prefinished line with great results.

Yes, it is character grade White Oak throughout the house, and we did use the fuming process from Rubio Monocoat. I've not heard any good things about refinished floors, though, so can't recommend that. We had the floors laid and then finished, and they are very easy to care for, very durable.
