Fall Back

Well I "spring forward" before I realized it was "fall back".

How many clocks did you have to set?

  • 11 manually; 7 set automatically (PC, cable box, etc.)

4 clocks, the others are automatic. The microwave is annoying .... it wants the time, date, am/pm, my shoe size, how I'm feeling .... by the time I punch everything in, the time is wrong already. :D

(And it's close to the oven clock, I start twitching if they're showing different times.)

We will have to set five--range, microwave, heath ceramic clock and both cars. The rest will be automatic.

    You'd appreciate this...

We have a number of wind up pendulum clocks so those have to be stopped for an hour and restarted. We also have to do clocks in the cars and our watches, MW, and ovens, and some battery powered clocks so about 15.

We only have to set three clocks. Speed oven and the two cars. I have a watch but I only use it for tracking my workout time so I never reset it.

MizGG, I'm with you. Makes me crazy to see the MV, wall oven, and builtin oven inches from each other all with clocks.

    Annie, Great, thanks.

The microwave, range, 5 bedside alarm clocks, a decorative clock in the master BR, 2 cars, and my watch have all been reset.

There's a clock that needs to be set and wound in playroom, but I probably won't bother. My boys don't really like the noise it makes.

The Atmos clock in the family room has a special procedure that I need to look up.

I probably reset about 12 clocks over time... only make sure the kitchen clocks and bedroom clock are done immediately!

our bedside alarm clock is probably 15 (?) or so yrs old... it is 'preset' to fall back and spring forward automatically, but it was made before 'they' changed the day light savings time, so every yr now it falls back a week early and springs forward 3 weeks late, so I have to reset that clock 4 times a year!!!

MizGG - Is your microwave GE? Ours does the same thing. If we have a power failure you can't use it until you answer all the stupid questions. So annoying,

My husband actually turns off the time on the MV. So the only thing in the kitchen with time is the stove. I have to change my watch and my car, DH does all the clocks in the house.

Only had to set three clocks here - oven, microwave, and coffee maker. Oops, I forgot one upstairs so we're an hour off up there.

Deee, yes, GE. It's so silly, having to put all that info in, isn't it! I don't understand why they made it that way.

Dedtired, I guess I'm a wage slave. Wow....... just wow......

What I know is that the clocks all say 7 but I feel like it's midnight....

Darn, need to go look up how to reset the 4 alarm keypads and also the garage opener keypads and the wired-in light timers ....... now I'm really tired!

10 manual, 9 automatic. Love that my bedroom clock radio resets itself. Thanks for this thread. It reminded me that the timer next to my cooktop needs to be reset.

Oh darn. I forgot about the car. That is always a pain in the neck. Other than that, only three. The oven clock and two small clocks. I never set the microwave clock.

I loathe DST, just loathe it.

    What ghostlyvision said.

I don't change the truck clock. It's right half the time. I don't ever change the microwave or the stove clocks. If our power blinks the time is wrong. It blinks a lot. I have a battery kitchen clock, my watch and the computer clocks. I'm retired. Time isn't that critical any more.

I think we changed the oven and I need to change my car still. I guess my DH changed his watch. I only use my cell phone for alarm, time, etc.

Hahah! DH said the lady who runs the gym was unhappy this a.m....instead of arriving at her normal 5am, her clocks got messed up and she ended up arriving at 4 am! Yikes!
