How about crisp white drapes. That would work well with the trim, the pillows and the wall color.

Do you need them for privacy? Airy white sheers have a breezy cottage look.

I don't need them for privacy very often so maybe could go for the airy look. I do like that.

Sheers are usually very inexpensive so dressing the windows with them wouldn't be costly. If you get tired of them put your old ones back up (they are pretty) or hang them between the curtains for a different look.

Here are a couple of pictures of the windows this morning. Maybe a little better -- white trimmed windows. Is a curtain with a white background in maybe a lattice print to add color and interest an option? Too much? Is my rug messing with an option like that?

I'm sorry, not quite sure what you are asking regarding the curtain. You mean just hanging them on one side of window. Also the photos are not very clear and I don't think the rug will be a problem if I had a better photo of curtains. A sheer with a lattice pattern should not be an issue.

A white grazy look. Light and breezy. You don't need any more prints or color. Keep Windows simple. Check Bed Bath & Beyond.

I am asking if you all think forr example, a green or turquoise or taupe/ tan lattice print curtain with a white background would look nice in the room, or if that is too busy considering the rug I have?
