    Hi---

I agree with the previous comments, your kitchen looks nice. What is lacking is a bit of interest. Therefore, I recommend you take advantage of the blank canvas you have, that being the backsplash, and make it the star of the room.

You have a neutral color palette so the possibilities are endless. I think a tile with some movement---curves, would be very appealing and soften the lines of the cabinetry. I recommend you install larger sized tiles---less grout lines---so nothing under a 4×8. :))

Here's one example of something I think would look fabulous in your kitchen. The tiles are large, have movement, and are neutral in color. Keep those aspects in mind when searching for the "star" of the room, and you'll feel much differently about the design choices you've made. :))

If you have a local Tileshop, I suggest stopping by their showroom and browsing their selections. Make sure to bring a floor tile, a piece of countertop, cabinet color-or bring a drawer, and wall color. Having those items will make it a lot easier to narrow down tile options. Chances are, if it looks good paired with ALL your elements in the showroom, it will work well in your home.

Hope this is helpful. Keep us posted.

    Good Luck!

It would help to know what you don't like about your current choices -- do you wish they were brighter? fancier? quieter? You could certainly add color here if you wanted, or pattern, or just find a nice shiny glass version of white or gray tile...

it looks nice and clean once you bring in all your decor with pops of color it will all come together.. as far as backlash I think grey and white with some silver mosaic tile would look amazing

Hard to tell the main colours in your granite, but, I really like the waveline or waveline mini glass tile by Island Stone, photos 1 and 2. Or a small Crema Marfil mini mosaic tile, photo 3. Backpainted glass photo 4.

You need an interesting backsplash, and I would change out that basic hood over the range to make things more interesting.

I love Jillian's backsplash tile selection. You can pull some color from whatever backsplash you pick: canisters, decorative accessories, etc. I think an accent color added will help. You have some great "bones" with the choices you have made and just needs some color to make it look cozier.
