We are selecting the counters and eventually backsplash soon. I love a clean, transitional look. Although I love far stained wood floors, our wood kitchen floors are a honey color and can not be changed at this time. Our cabinets are beaded inset, glacier white color. Island is white too. We love Carrera. Designer suggested Pietra del Cardosa but we were told it's worse than marble with staining. Thinking honed misty jet granite on perimeter, grayish mosaic or subway time for backslash and honed white carrera on island. The second to last photo is of the Pietra Cardosa which we were told to avoid, it's lighter than the misty jet. The last photos arethe layout that the kitchen designer sent me but it's just a computer program and the chairs are not what we picked and there will be molding up to the ceiling (not shown)all opinions welcomed...thanks!
