You can get unfinished flooring and have it stained to match what you have I would do that before mixing real wood and wood look tile. If not that then maybe just plain porcelain tile with a nice area rug to absorb noise.

Solid hardwood stained to match; engineered hardwood in a colour that will compliment the existing ... now install at an angle or in a herring bone (pay the price for the more expensive install = beautiful feature room); vinyl planks that will have less echo than tiles but not as "real" as real hardwood. Vinyl flooring also comes in "stone" look or tile look products. You don't "have" to have a wood-look floor here...there are other options.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the "echo" of porcelain (your walls will probably play a larger role here), but vinyl or wood would do better. Plus vinyl and wood have a warmer feel than porcelain/ceramic. Generally people get porcelain because it is water resistant and scratch resistant, but for most offices that isn't a typical concern.

There are some interesting wood/stone "fusion" abstract designs available in vinyl plank you may want to look at. Check out Caliza from the Modin collection, if you want to stay lighter like your carpet currently is:
