The 24" bosch oven is VERY new to the US market. It was only announced in the last few months and I am not sure it has shipped yet. It's entirely different from the 30" unit (those are built for the US market, the 24" is a European unit they have brought over).

Interesting. We have it being delivered in 2 weeks. I loved our 30" so I'm hopeful that the 24" will be as good.

Are you sure the oven isn't insulated? It's very common in old ovens for the insulation to sink to the bottom or disintegrate, but it's quite possible to replace that, you know. I would guess that it probably just needs redoing. But even ovens in the 1920s had insulation in them.

Thank you for the tip on the insulation, I will give that a look and try. Maybe that is the issue. I still would like a larger oven. A 24" would be roomier than the one with the range! But I will definitely check the insulation. Thanks!!
