Cabinet color to coordinate with hard wood?

I need help coordinating the right cabinet color with our kitchen hard wood flooring. Our flooring will be a medium brown 5"/4" Hickory, I had thought about a cream color, but also wanted to find a stained color that would look good too. Suggestion? Thank you

deep cherry - but careful to not have too much orange in that cherry - that's a lot of orange tone if those are together. Or a dark color, painted dark smokey blue/gray.
