Talk about customer service...

I ordered 9 yards of fabric from Thousands of Bolts for backing. I was sent the wrong fabric. I emailed them through their "Contact Us" tab, and the correct fabric is being sent out on the same work day. And, get this, the "wrong" fabric is mine to keep. They said it would cost more to get it back into inventory than it was worth. It's kind of a crazy big floral pattern, but I bet I can make a fun girl's quilt out of it. This was sure a surprise. Eighteen yards of quality fabric for $50 dollars.

That is good to know! Same thing happened to me with DenverFabrics.com. They sent the wrong fabric, told me to keep it and then sent me what I ordered. That wrong fabric turned out to be very wide 100% cotton, a check, that ended up as a quilt backing.

I agree great customer service and what a great bonus. I have had this kind of service for food items at QVC too. I shocked. Now I know why I love qvc.

Alwys nice to read about a place that gave great customer service. I had a somewhat similar experience with fabric.com ...they sent me the wrong Auerfil thread color, shipped me two more spools the next day...and it was still wrong. Inventory error on their part and I got to keep 4 spools of Auerfil and a credit!
