The island could be a light Juaparano fantastico. The black could be a Black absolute or a Cafe Bahia, which has a little brown in it. Remember- different stone yards may have the same stone with a different name. It is best to check it out in person. Have your designer scout it out, the selection can be overwhelming.

Thanks! I have decided on bianco antico and possible having it honed. I am trying to have a light marble look. You are so right about checking the individual slabs as some I looked at had lots of fill and the color varied so much among the bianco antico. Going from an all white countertop to bianco will be a big change for me! Have you any thoughts about honing (and adding enhancers) vs polished bianco antico?
