I like them all, no help here…but, what about the size? And, when the table is in the room, how will you be looking at it…length or width?

I like no 1 and then you can add some glass to the table as in the photo.

Is that a hammered metal table? Looks lovely. I am not particularly fond of any of the lights because they don't respect that table. I was looking for a Tom Dixon light for you ( http://www.tomdixon.net/products/us/beat-light-wide) but it only comes in brass - a series of three could work if you could find something similar in silver

The table is 80" long & 40" deep. We will be looking at it lengthwise. The fixtures are all pretty close 28"-30". Thanks!

Do you want the glare from the bulbs overhead to catch your eye as you sit at the table, or shine upwards? Doesn't matter so much if you have dimmer switches, but imo lights over a table that shine down are not pleasant to live with.

So - the first two you posted have bulbs that shine up, the third shines down, so I'd go for one of the first two, probably the first, because it's chunkier, and might complement the look of your table better, therefore.

Caveat: I'm no expert, so my opinion is worth what you're paying for it ;)

I agree with ASVinteriors Ann Marie. The wheel light would be nice if you were living in the mountain range area. I like the idea of just the 3 lights . Good luck with all your doing with this absolutely beautiful home your doing over. Very hard thing to accomplish but your doing a great job.

I don't think that is the best size for the table. 30" maybe be too wide for the 40" and too short for the 80". ASV thinks longer and narrower; I agree. Let's look around a bit.

Are you familiar with Currey and Company?

Of the ones you show, I like the second one for its bleached wood and carefree appeal. However, I think you could go slightly more contemporary. I like the orb below.

As far as i can tell from the pics, it seems that the second one (the tear drop shape) has a similar tone to the base of your table. I really like that one, its casual and elegant at the same time

I like #2 because it has a "washed" look. Is there other lighting in the room and how high is the ceiling? You don't want the chandelier to be oversized either.

I like the first one you picked out of all of them.
