Our local weird neighborhood store carries a lot of Ajax detergents, including these. They smell ok, but have no enzymes and the ingredients are basically scented water, a la Xtra or Sun.

I've seen the Ajax Toss Ins, but I've never seen these ones. Lol

I just bought a new pack of these a few days ago.....they do have enzymes but even better they smell exactly like vintage Fresh Start...I have the old Fresh Start so I did a sniff test....exactly the same scent. Very low sudsing and clear rinsing.

Mama....where did you find these? Last time I looked at them, there were no enzymes. Who makes these? Sun? Colgate-Palmolive? Beckinser? Dwight?

Here Larsi...and I found them at Big Lots. I can't even believe how good these things work and smell....I know for a fact they had no enzymes a year ago and they did not smell this way.

Unless the ones I had before were older.

@Mama...I ordered them. I hope the ones I get have enzymes! You are a bad influence! LOL

Naturally I spent MORE on shipping than the cost of 2 bags. Ace Hardware has a great price on these!!

Larsi I hope you enjoy them and will look forward to your review.

Jody, your letting yourself miss out LOL. Low suds, clean rinsing, does a fine job although I haven't thrown anything tragic at it and smells *Gee your laundry smells terrific* haha

Mama, you say they smell like vintage Fresh Start, low sudsing and clean rinsing? IIRC Fresh Start was made by Phoenix Brands. Could it possibly be Fresh Start just labeled as Ajax? I loved FS never had a problem with it.

Hi Bea, the original Fresh Start was made by Colgate-Palmolive..I think they sold it to Phoenix Brands in the mid 2000's. Maybe 2004 or 2005 I can't remember off the top of my head.

I used Fresh Start for years and years alongside German Persil. It was one of the best. LOW sudsing, easy to rinse, cleaning was top notch and the scent was very light and just clean...nothing perfumed!

These Ajax ProPax are great!! I've been using them for my whites along with a Tide Brights & Whites Rescue Pod and couldn't be happier. Blinding whites, wonderfully fresh, and clean clean clean! I hope Big Lots continues to stock them. I already have 8 packages of them but may *need* more lol. They are cheap!
