Rug color

Looking for a area rug color, it would look great ivory but I think I need a pop of color, or should I do light rug and pop of color accents? I'm also going to have a cream distressed China cabinet

You can do either - have a lovely ivory or beige area rug and a colorful framed painting above the china cabinet or a colorful carpet and colorful art work.

Guess it would depend on the rug but it would work colorwise. So would coral.

I think gray, navy blue, or a tan/light orange would look great!

I think a coral or burnt orange would work. Maybe even a deep red.
