We are having our 1952 house updated. We live in western WA and have chosen SW Useful Gray for walls in the main living areas because it has a slight green cast which works with the trees and water. Trim is Gray Area and is two steps darker in same family. It is close to the exterior trim which will be visible on window sills and where beam extend to exterior. I know that the trend is to paint trim lighter than wall color, but this house always had the reverse. Would love to hear others' opinions and experiences. I included two photos to give a sense of living room space. Thank you.
