My former work buddies and I get together every few months to get caught up on each others' lives. And in Dec. we exchange small gifts. Last year I made mug rugs. This year I am doing tablerunners. Three down, one to go. and that may be it on my "really should do" list.

Theresa, I have a group of former work buddies, too...larger than yours, though! There are about 10 of us who escaped from the church and a couple who still work there. :)

My only plan is to work on the Quiltville mystery. I'll keep working on my hand quilting, too.

I would like to get the Whispering Lace quilt off to my friends in France. I've finished piecing and I'm meeting my LAQ next Tuesday. She usually takes a week or two to finish, so then I have to bind it and send it on its way. I just want to get that done before we leave for Hawaii. Otherwise, I don't have any projects that must get done. I finished my first three months' lotto blocks for 2016 and will send them to Linda. I have the fabric for five quilts cut out and packaged to take along this winter and a knitting project for those times that I don't want to take out the sewing machine. You really get spoiled when you are able to leave your sewing machine out and at the ready all the time. That's about it from here.

Donna, I too worked for a Church office and over the time I was there, more than ten women were on staff. But only four of us kept in touch. And that office has since been closed.

Gotta finish the tee shirt quilt that is in the frame and one UFO. Mostly got to finish the photo albums for the family.

I am working on the Bonnie Hunter mystery and string blocks in between. I also have a quilt on the frame that I hope to finish before Christmas.

I have to quilt the Zelda quilt before the 10th. The person to whom I am giving the quilt will be here from NH and I want to send it home with him. The only other goal I have is to keep up with the mystery quilt.

Working in a church office can be brutal! I was the only office worker but felt as though I had a whole church full of bosses. I decided to retire when the new pastor, a former lawyer, thought I was there to do his bidding. I was the office manager/treasurer and only worked 4 hours a day.

It sure looks like everyone is basically organized this month and are putting the finishing touches on projects. Good job everyone!

Linda/OH, I didn't even know the last two blocks were posted and I know I checked several times throughout Nov. I think I need to add Zelda to my list of December goals.

I have no big projects for December but I will toil along with the mystery quilt just to keep my hand in. It is so regimented that I don't have to think too hard. I have step one completed and will work on the house a bit. Lots of family coming in and out during the month and I hope to squeeze in a trip to check up on Mom and make sure she is behaving.

Sharon, the block have been designed but not loaded on the blog. Jen put up half of the Link block and has the rest ready to publish. I am at her mercy about the posting dates. So sorry about the delay. If you need it before she posts, I can send the missing parts to you.

No worries, Linda/OH. I still don't have the last block completed. It's fine...whenever it's convenient.

Son-in-law's dad was taken to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day and is being taken off of life support this evening. We're kind of in limbo not really feeling like doing anything.

The memorial service was Monday and I took the 15 heart pillows of various sizes (2 at 12" and the rest smaller) that I had made out of some chenille that Katie had given me. I was making them for her mother, sister and girl cousins, but the aunts and a few others wanted one. I made sure those out of state was able to have one and I made 9 more today for those who were left out on the first round.

I have 4 more pillowcases made, 3 more in the 'hot dog' stage and 3 more kitted.......and I still can't find my list! I better get moving cause we're having our family Christmas on the 20th.........it really isn't that far away! Yikes!!!

Sharon, I'm so sorry! This is such a hard time of year to lose loved ones, and it happens a lot.

I've completed the first two steps of the mystery quilt (well, except for cutting a bunch of squares in blacks and gray). I'm ready for clue 3 tomorrow! But...my house desperately needs cleaning, and I just can't get myself to do it on weeknights any more.

I am caught up with the mystery quilt till Friday. I also finished some UFOs in my sewing room. I feel GREAT! I even hung the tree quilt this week and put up the Christmas tree.

Linda, I did that stuff, too! Except our tree is a 3" pre-decorated one...I just pull it out of the bag and plug it in. :) The cats have been enjoying checking it out.

Running late on everything this month, already...it's been odd, very busy, and stressful, tho not with Christmas stuff. (that is yet to come!! ...but I refuse to stress over Christmas!). I have one more of those funny logcabin santa things to finish. If I get that done, I'll be delighted. (I sew at the dining room table..smack in the middle of the house, so it's always an issue of setting up and tearing down...not a good thing for holiday season!

I finally have the rest of the pillowcases completed with 6 more sent up north today. Now just need to finish up 3 more potholders/hot pads. They are all ready to sew, so shouldn't take long. I decorated this year.....I made a ceramic tree for my MIL lots of years ago and it's on the end table and lights up. I even turn the little key thing and listen to the music box I put in it. I'm surprised it still works.

Beth, I'm sorry you don't have a designated area to sew where you can leave things set up. It really does make a difference.

I finished a QOV today.......I had made the top in 2013. I don't remember when I sandwiched and even did some SITD quilting on it, but there it was. DH asked if I had any QOV's on hand as he thought DGD's boyfriend should have one.......so, I searched it out, did a couple days sewing on it and finished it today so we can present it to him tomorrow at the family dinner. Now I need to make another one to have waiting........no problem. :-)

Another week and it will be next year. Unbelievable.

I only have a small part of last week's mystery clue done (not much sewing time last weekend). DH is remodeling the pantry this weekend, so that will require my help (whether he wants it or not LOL). Though I did tell him I want some sewing time, too.

I haven't had the hand quilting project out in ages. In the evenings I've been mostly sitting in front of the TV playing games on my iPad. :)

I noticed in a previous post I said our Christmas tree is 3 inches tall...hehehe...it's really 3 feet tall. :)
