I've been in some homes with a room or two done in "all white" and those rooms are almost never used by anyone in any of those homes. The owners end up not using them daily because they don't want to get it dirty, but even when company comes over they don't want to use the room for fear they'll spill something or stain something. It's like having a museum room in the house or something. I'd personally rather have a room I can use anytime and not worry about keeping it pristine.
