New construction or remodel? If remodel, Kohler makes one that you will not need to replace the lower doors. They also make a cast-iron sink cleaner that is half wax - when you are cleaning it, you are also waxing it so as to keep it clean longer. These are heavy - need to build support

Fireclay - can chip or crack. Make sure disposer and drains are placed properly and not over tightened.

I had the Kohler Whitehaven apron front list (cast iron) and loved it so much we are putting one in our new home as well.
