This is my second unknown conifer, I got a cutting from a small tree in front of a chapel while tripping to another city. To my surprise the cutting survived the trip in a empty bottle of mineral water and after 4 months rooted. Now it is going to its 3rd year of life in pot growing fast after a first year almost stopped.

The small tree in front of the chapel is the one from where I got the cutting

it looks like Juniperus chinensis but I never suceeded to propagate this species by cuttings in my region, the fungi kill the cuttings before they get roots.

Juniperus rigida maybe

It's a juniper but Juniperus rigida would not be my guess. We need a much closer view of the parent plant to be able to suggest a more specific identification.

Either rigida or a cultivaTed form of Chinensis called foemina. It displays needle as opposed to typical scale foliage of most mature juniperus

Could it be Cunninghamia lanceolata (China-fir)?

That produces different needles, bigger and flatter, which make it look like Araucaria angustifolia.
