It is called Super White and was purchased at Top It Marble and Granite in Hamilton.

Super White!!! Not a quartz or quartzite, this Brazilian material is actually a Dolomite (Harder than most marbles but softer than granite). :)

Have you ever seen a carerra tile backsplash in the same kitchen as Super White or Super White Calcutta -- does it look good?

I think it would look great!!! But if you want the Super White countertops to be the focal point of your kitchen you might want to use a less "busy" backsplash, such as white or grey porcelain subway tiles. (Please note we're not designers, just a stone yard and this is my personal opinion :) ). I'm sure you can find nice reference pictures here on Houzz.
