Are you doubting it and prepared to remove it based on Houzzers' opinions? It's fairly neutral so I don't think it's objectionable. The most important thing is what do you think about it?

I don't think you made a mistake it looks fine. Makes the kitchen feel a little eclectic though instead of classic. I think it's the crown molding that's throwing me off(too ornate).
