I have been contacting several soapstone suppliers and I can't seem to find anyone who is carrying the Beleza soapstone anymore. I am in the beginning stages of updating my kitchen and this is the counter top I want to have. I specifically like Beleza for it's natural dark color and it's hardness of 4 on the mohs scale. I have read a lot of online forums from people who have Beleza and they did not deal with water rings from their cups. It seems this is one issue some soapstone owners deal with. That is the main thing I want to avoid is water rings. I love the patina idea but not water splotches. It just doesn't appeal to me. Does anyone know if any quarries are finding Beleza? I would also love to hear about other hard soapstones that is similar to Beleza for it's dark color and high mohs rating. Thanks!
