What to put over hallway bench?

Looking for advice on what to put over this chocolate brown cowhide bench in my hallway. I think I want a mirror (as opposed to art). But should I go for round, square or a rectangle? And what style? The rest of my house is transitional with an Art Deco feel. Thanks in advance.

    I don't think the shape is as important as the size and the style and I would head towards the art deco style to compliment and go with a metal finish. I always find it easier to buy a few different pieces and return the ones that don't look right.
