An accent wall needs to relate to the space. It should be a solid wall with no doorways or other openings/distractions, and the furniture against it (if any) should be balanced so the whole composition (wall + furnishings) creates an artistic look. It may be that you don't have an ideal location for an accent wall, so I'd look at that possibility first.

If an accent wall is warranted, then it should work with the furnishing you have--the upholstery, the area rug, the artwork, etc. It could be a textured wall covering or a patterned wall covering or a contrast paint or other finishes.

To make a recommendation, one would need to know more about the rest of the room. Do you have pictures? A floor plan showing the wall you were thinking of accenting?

This is a new home. So no furniture yet. May I am jumping the gun here.

Perline it is better if you know the actual name of the products in question. My idea of sky blue may differ from yours. We would also like to know the name of the flooring.

If no furniture yet. Start with your rug, then furniture, then wall colors.

I do not like blue walls in a LR and would not choose wall color until after furniture is decided aas for accent wall that would come at the end after all other items are installed including a new color for the main walls IMO
