    The chalkboard door is actually just a piece of plywood cut to cover the opening. The pervious homeowners had a full side wine frig in that space. We made the chalkboard to cover the opening since my clients keep their modem and other non friendly kid items in that space. You could just purchase a flat hollow-core door and paint it with chalk paint for the same look.
