My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Does vinyl decking require extra maintenance?

I would really like to build a deck on my back porch but I'm trying to decide what to use. I love the look of wood but I don't want it to wear out and give people splinters. http://www.standardroofing.net/vinyl_decking.html

    Jeff...If you like the look of wood that does not splinter over time look at the hardwoods, like Ipe'-Tigerwood-Cumaru. These products hold up very well with minimal maintenance. The best of the best of a vinyl deck is AZEK. If its installed correctly, you hose it off with a garden hose.
