Could be the pump is not working or is clogged or maybe the the belt is slipping or there is an issue with the spider (the spider is connected to the drum which the belt turns). A spider leg could be broken causing an off balance situation so the washer won't spin.

Could be a main board issue...it could be any number of things.

Sure sounds like a drain problem

I have the same problem, its not draining issue, its not the mainboard and its not a control issue. It just never gets to a high speed to drain the water from the clothes properly.

I had that issue with my last set. We replaced the electronic shut-off valve that had a leak sensor. Not sure what that had to do with anything but the drain/spin problem only happened with the heavy-duty cycle. I'd run the drain/spin cycle after those loads. It was a PITA the entire time as I had a tough time convincing my husband there was something wrong. It wasn't actually anything to do with the washer or Whirlpool. It was the valve.

In my case, doesn't matter what kind of loads. I don't use the heavy-duty cycle. Thank you for your support. I guess its not my lucky day
