Beautiful church pew. I think the restoration chairs would be over shadowed by the table.

Think you are on the right track here..however be sure to leave plenty of space all around the table for easy comfortable access ..as well as room for moving the seating as needed...the concrete tabletop will not allow much movement if it is as heavy as it looks...as to the lovely bench may I suggest you clean it very carefully and wax it with a wax designed to not darken the color..this will give it a smooth ..spot repellant ...patina while preserving the natural beauty..

Also consider cushions covered in a color or print that matches the concrete..this will tie it together and complement the concrete rather than leaving it to stand alone

I actually wanted the same chairs! but thought they'd be too cold with the cement table. wood and cloth I thought would warm it up

I agree kc ...the wooden chairs also bring up the quality level in the grouping

The chairs that Cressina suggested (particularly the Tolix style chair) was one of the first styles that came to mind for me too. :-)

But here are some other ideas/suggestions. These 2 styles below are from Serena & Lily. They also are offered it other colors.

Another suggestion....the Lyle chair from Crate & Barrel (can "soften" the look with a cushion).

The Tolix chair is similar to this chair.

You might be incorporating to many things (industrial bar-stools all different colors, bench seating & now the traditional chair?). There might be a better way to tie this all together. Maybe have the bar-stools all one color (spray paint all silver) & go for the traditional chair (which is quite nice) or in keeping with the industrial look...buy the Elio dining chairs and make seat pads for them (same fabric tone as on the bench) and that would soften it up.

Your table top is polished concrete...

Leather would be perfect...try to find a gray leather chair. It would look best if the chair and the bench were about the same height.

Love the church pew!! But can you find another place for it so that you can see it all.

I wud use a fully upholstered tall back chair . Soften up against the hardwood..also elegant and casual mix

I think these are great chairs!

I would try to find an old Persian or Oriental rug. It would fit in nicely with the age of the church pew. Check Craigslist often to find the right one. I also like the idea of the wishbone chair if you can find it in a reasonable price. I find the mismatched barstools to be discordant with what is in your space. Maybe same color will bring them in.

Just realized we don't have pics of any other adjoining rooms other than the kitchen..would be interesting to see the flavor of the rest of the rooms and how these various choices fit in..the kitchen looks sort of industrial...with the metal and stainless elements..does the living area have the same feel?
