By the way, I don't know if you intend the bed to be placed against the window wall, but I would try it the other way around. The head should be against the wall on the left, probably, if the space allows. And then that would be your wallpaper wall (just the niche). You could also paper both niche walls, leaving the panel with the window and the wall on the right to be painted. I would only do that with a subtle-patterned paper and a toning wall colour, though. Contrast would break the space up too much.

But am thinking to use wallpaper on wall C? But your suggestion to paint wall B and C is tempting too. If that give a better 'hotel' feeling, I would go for that.

I have some wallpaper samples provided by the company and the colour chart from Jotun paint. Am thinking to choose among these few wallpaper for wall A. Wall B and C could use 'timeless' or 'skylight' paint. What is your advice? If all doesn't fit the feel and look, I can choose again ;)

Yes, I would wallpaper wall A. Not C.

Lovely choices of wallpaper. I particularly like the ones that look like grasspaper, and the second one -- although that is showing up so pale on my screen I'm not sure about it. It looks as though it has a quilted effect? A bit three dimensional to the eye? My favourite is the very first one.

But I did a search on the two Jotun colours and they're coming up in a whole lot of variations in different pictures. It seems to me that with all except the round-patterned wallpaper a greenish tinged wall would be best, perhaps a bit darker than the colour in the paper. I think both the colours are beautiful, but Timeless looks like rather a yellow green, whereas the wallpaper greens seem more on the cooler side. Similarly, with the so-pretty beige/white round pattern, Skylight looks too yellow. I think only you are going to be able to tell with the colours in front of you which works the best.

Working from the gallery on this page -- http://www.jotun.com/me/en/b2c/inspiration/colours-gallery/ -- you might think of Oxford River or Reflection with the beige/white paper, and from what I see above, the colour just below Timeless with the others. There's also a colour called Soft Mint on the web page -- it might be a bit less restrained than I think you are looking for, though. But, as I say, I could be seeing them quite incorrectly.

I am picking from the 'grey' line. I think Oxford river and the other two colours are not in the Majestic paint series. Do you think bare can give a better feel with my wallpaper of choice?

I picked up a bigger sample of bare online -- on my screen Bare looks good. Lovely colour. You will only know for sure when you get samples and put them right next to each other.

No stick for the wallpaper. I ended up choosing this. Please tell me it gives a contemporary feel as well
