My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hi Samontre, Thanks for your question. We built this from the beginning of the project. This is an extra large basement space. The ceiling height is 18 feet and the room dimensions are 24X22. If you live in the Chicagoland area we would be happy to assess your space and let you know if this is feasible. Thanks.

      Wouldn't the dimensions be larger than that. Or are the lines not regulation. Could it be 44x22?

      I am happy to help here. Price of course completely depends on where you live in the country. I live in SLC. One way people typically do this is suspend their garage. I am guessing that is what is done here. In that case the cost of the reinforced slab, excavation, stairway, wall and window and basketball court....I would guess this would be an additional 30-45K on top of your build job.

      I should also mention this might be some of the least expensive sq ft to add when you are building.
