Thanks! I tend to lean towards the Persian style rugs, but not sure how it will go with the modern art. Perhaps something between modern and traditional that will stand out, since the art will be kind of muted. Browns and beiges are colors I've been leaning towards.

i believe all are under $300, 5x8 or 6x10. Bravo on the art work! Just a note, art work need not go with each other or much else in the room. so, if you see something you love, get it anyway, it will fit. I know i have a house full!

havingfun, I agree! To me, Persian rugs are neutral and go with any design aesthetic. But there is a lot of push towards modern styles recently. I love modern styles but Persians will always be in style!

Yes I love this hidden coat rack. Although the coat rack you have now is beautiful, it doesn't look as nice with the coats actually on it. If you can, I think leelee's suggestions would work wonders for the space.

While purples are some of my favorite colors I think the picture over the console is really dark. Along with the wood it's just too heavy looking. These are both from etsy.com
