Hey everyone! I am ok. I have made several attempts to post thank yous but i always fell back asleep.. I still feel a little loopy from the medications,but I am alive! Surgery went well. Doc said I am healing up very well. Bad news is....I will no longer be able to do the type of work I do or this will happen again! Which really will have an affect on my pocket. :( I can not lift anything over 70 pounds by myself anymore!!!! The logs/wood I pick up at work are very heavy and the guys arent going to cater to me (to cut logs up smaller) because work needs hurry along asap and moved on to the next job. I am going to look for another job... sadly...

Anyway i did receive boxes from Tammy, Erica and Laura!

I am just blown away at everyones boxes! Thank U so much for thinking of me!

Tammy, my brother opened your box for me while he was here taking care of me and already used the doggy treats for raven. thank u so much. she really likes them! The kids got a hold of the candy canes before I could!@!@ Thank u!!!

The flag is already out, but its on my porch not at the plot.. I dont want it ruined by all the wind up there.. Tammy sent me football cups and foot ball napkins! Butterfly beth! Its a butterfly bush growing kit that comes with seeds in a dome, A window hummingbird feeder, candy canes, doggy treats, solar garden light, 2 note pads, seeds (Datura, orange marigolds, oriole zinnias, blue rose of Sharon, purple Canterbury bells) gardening gloves and a stocking, which will go on my tree next year :) oh andddddd the Butterfly garden from Insect lore! I wanted this for Christmas, but instead my 8 year old took it back with him to Pa :( I cant wait to order the caterpillars.

She sent me a butterfly thermometer, Bird decor (oriole i think :) ), candle, Potpourri. Reminds me of my mom, she used to use that all the time! Gardening gloves, photo album, Magical Floating water candles, black eyeliner, mugwort plant and seeds of stevia, cheeseweed mallow, wild dagga, yarrow, kablooma calendula, pacific beauty calendula, butterfly weed, echinacea, orange poppies, jimsonweed, dandelion, marigold and tangerine poppy!

Laura I just opened your box! Thank u so much! I have been searching EVERYWHERE for that type of headband and can NEVER find it.. Laura sent me a cool sign that really made me LOL. It says Sow many seeds sow little yard. She also sent some tumeric, trailing verbena, Bee balm, a plant that i think the label came off ? (yellow bag) eucalyptus spearmint body wash, cute gardening socks, a cool looking moon /sun decoration, ravens bottle cover, solar dragon fly, and some seeds of chinese lanterns, paeony black poppy dwarf celosia and some columbine! thank You! Can I keep these plants indoors under lights or should I plant them now? Its been really cold here the past week (Northern Va)

The two in baggies, raspberry wine monarda and purple trailing verbena, should do just fine as is for the next 6 weeks or so. Just keep the top of Baggie open, keep them near a window, cool area fine, keep a bit moist without overwatering,. . Both will be hardy in your zone.

The dwarf Cardimom, I'd just throw in a little dirt and set by a window. - It's mamma has been in the house since Nov, ( I bring some inside every winter even though it's a zone 8 -- just in case) and has been in a cool room by a west window. I'd take out in May .

The turmeric is the only thing I'd put under lights and warmth . ( keep tubers in dark dry area until ready to plant,,). Each of the single tubers can be planted next month already as it takes a while to break dormancy. I plant out with my sweet potatoes.

If they don't make it, let my know this Spring as I always have replacements!

Thanks for that info lorabell. I have them set up near the window which is cool at night. My grow lights are on during the day, so its warm... They are on a timer as I can not be here all day since school started back up. They all seem to be doing good. No deaths yet! I bet they would the green houses at school. OMG they have the biggest and most beautiful plants I have seen. High tech stuff. I am not into the high tech stuff but for a green house,. Ill take it! :) In the green houses (they have a few different ones for different plant needs) there are several species of carnivorous plants that are over 100 years old!!! They are HUGE! I have never been so excited for class like I am now!

The chocolates are gone already lol. Fayes box included chocolates, eyeliner, plant tags, plant tape, rain gauge, picture frame, moon fairy, post it notes, a couple cute refrigerator magnets, a butterfly kite, valentine day stuffed animal, plant crystals, cinnamon sticks, and seeds! But guess what? My son moved everything to my plant/seed table to finish his puzzle and the seeds got mixed up with others. I searched through the piles, but didnt see your name on them. It was like 3 or 4 packs.

The seeds I sent to you was Mexican Sunflower, Nasturtium Orange Troika, and Swamp Milkweed. I hope this helps.

hmmmm... well that is very Interesting.. I do not have a porch. I will check the leasing office tomorrow morning to see if they have the box there. All of the carriers take it to the office if they cant fit in the mail boxes .

Hopefully, the box reaches you. It's awful to think the PO just left it somewhere.... :(
