I happen to like lively living rooms. There's a tie in between art's blue/red and navy chairs and rug, yes?

Computers don't often show accurately; what paint color is on the wall? Kraft paper tan / khaki ???

I looked again, and now I'm on the fence. Maybe share what you and yours say... :)

Maybe the artwork would look better with a lighter wall color? :) I like the brightness of the art, but the wall color knocks it down a few notches.

I'd say yes except for the wall color. That seems not to go with the rest of the pieces in the room.

I like the artwork with the chairs and rug, but the sofa color throws it all off. It's like the chairs and painting are dancing to fast music, while the
sofa is doing a slow dance. (The rug goes with both the bold and the
calm). I believe that if the sofas, while beautiful, were a bolder color or print in the red or blue families, the colors in the room would play off each other better. If you want to test this out, experiment by putting a dark red or blue fabric over the sofa, and see the difference.

Absolutely, but those two need to be hung higher. They make the room feel like the ceiling is pushing down. Bring it up, draw the eye up, create a loftier feeling. Otherwise I think it works well, the reds and brown play subtly off one another to create a richness.

I like the spot of color tho I would hang them a little higher and further apart. I would also take some of the bolder colors from the art work and use them as accent pillows and decor in the room. It would tie it all in!
