Hello: We are currently renovating a house we bought a few months back. We are contemplating adding a fireplace to our living room. The living room is open to the kitchen - has windows on the backside - a large 8' window (on a 16' wall) and the only other wall in that room is perpendicular to that wall. The wall we're thinking about adding a fireplace to is 13', but the space in the living room for furniture is approx. 16'x16'. Is 13' a large enough wall to put an electric fireplace with mantle and possibly a couple small builtins on either side of the fireplace? We'll check with our builder, too, but just checking to see what you all have to say:) Thank you so much!!
