What color is the trim throughout the rest of the house?

Try finding a color that is the same shade, but slightly darker than the trim. If you can't find an exact color, you can ask Benjamin Moore to add 25% more pigment to the color blend, which should give you the same color, just darker. Then paint one wall a contrasting dark color (deep purple or blue). It should help balance the trim color and give the illusion that it's a cream color.
