Sea salt sounds good. Or Dove white.

I agree with Sharon. You need off white.

Off white or white. That would really pop your gorgeous counters. If you go sea-salt, you won't get that contrast.

You have all neutrals in your current palette. I would suggest using a color, like a brick red or Benjamin Moore Vermont Blue.

Thanks everyone for the help. I couldn't do red. I need to post more pictures. There is so much white in my living room that's connected to this kitchen and dining room that it makes me a little scared of white cabinets. I wanted to go with white cabinets to start with but an interior decorator told me about sea salt as she viewed my house today.

Maybe make the cabinets white and the walls sea salt.

With the exception of the flat side of the island, I like the wood. It is warm. Paint it and all around are whites and grays, and black, like an iPhone:)
