Find a nice blue for them so that that are complementary to the orange tone of the brick.

I would definitely take off the awnings, paint the brick white and add shutters on the front. Windowboxes under your two front windows will add some curb appeal. If you can't replace the doors, I would paint the garage and lower door white & stain the front door to be a dark wood color.
