Or in an entry? Storage cubes/baskets under for storage or extra seating (cubes). Or even as a desk for a laptop if you are limited in space for a home office. If the piece can't serve a true purpose, make the effort to return it so your home doesn't accidentally feel cluttered with extra smaller pieces of furniture.

I know that you like the table, so go ahead and put the TV on it, and take a picture, so that we can decide if it works.

Why not just mount the TV with a bracket on the wall and store the cable boxes on the shelves next to the TV? With a little effort, you should be able to hide the cords.

I just moved tv here and put table in other spot. Trying to figure out how to move cable cord .. Not sure it's possible

The TV on the console with the metal stand, looks like a desk and computer. It clearly does not work. I think the pictures that I sent in your other post is what you should consider.

Of the options photographed, the console table looks best between the door and hallway. Hope you can make it work!

You have a specific TV stand in your mind, so it is futile for me to go to the Wayfair site and start pulling stands into this post.

What size TV do you plan on purchasing, keep this in mind when choosing your stand, because as you can see, the metal and wood console with your current TV is too small.

Are you going to put the TV stand on the wall near the door or on the white brick. If you put it on the white brick, then you can put some artwork on the wall near the door. If you put it near the door, then the TV stand should be the width of that wall space.

The table looks best on the wall between the door and the hall way because the scale of the table is right for the space. With the tv on it, it was top heavy. Put a large canvas above it, Mercury glass candle sticks on either side and it should be just what you are wanting.

As for the tv console, if you want the tv on the short brick wall, you will need to find a shorter console table. Not too thick and chunky or it won't balance with the smallness of your wall. I think the wall is making this difficult.

I like that picture that you've put up. I cannot determine if it might be a bit high. Yes, that unit from Ikea is nice, but you are saying they do not have it in a longer size - 60" would be perfect.

How long is that console that you are going to return?

I think the console doesn't work on the brick wall/room divider because it cuts off the wall on an unpleasant height. The golden ratio is 1/3, 2/3, etc. I would suggest a lower console on that wall with the TV above it. Or no console at all, just the TV.

Keeping it by the door might work if you dress it up with a couple of stools or baskets below it. You don't want to leave the below space blank. This might be the best option in your case if you like the viewing angle and have about 36" clear walking space.

Well, I was working on your other thread and someone kindly told me you'd started a new one. The console doesn't work on either side of the brick wall or in the kitchen. Unless you have a specific use for it, like as an entry table, I'd return it.

bridgetmarie21 - so which table are you going with for your TV? I was asking about the size of the table that you were going to return, because if the one that you saw in Ikea was longer, I think that the Ikea table might work.
