Wow; beautiful. Looks like this could keep you busy for 'awhile'. Say; where are the alligators, water moccasins and mosquito fields?

Thanks for the comments. We don't get Alligators here, but there are 2 species of Crocodile, Crocodylus porosus and C. johnstonii. The C. porosus is the largest living reptile on earth, but the largest one that comes into my place is only 3 metres long. My pond/dam drains into my swamp which drains into my creek. That's where the Crocs come through but so far I've never found any getting into that pond. They tend to hang around in the swamp.

There's plenty of snakes, about 10 species I've recorded so far but cane toads have wiped out a lot of the more dangerous ones.

As for mosquitos, there are some short periods when they get bad. But they don't like heavy rain so disappear in the main part of the wet season. And I have anti-mosquito strategies which keep them under control for most of the rest of the year. They provide the fish with food.
