Not sure if this is best forum for basement design advice, but I will ask. We want to incorporate brick wall(s) and or reclaimed wood in basement. Below are pictures of some of the open walls. I am thinking about one or two walls, but didn't know what would make sense aesthetically.

Also, as it relates to the opening for where a fireplace should have been, are there any creative ideas on how to use this space, other than perhaps open shelving or closet? If we do shelving, my concern is the space is pretty deep.
