80'S BATHROOM REMODEL, OPEN VANITY TO MASTER

My house was built in 1983 and has the whacky master bedroom layout where part of the bathroom is right out in the middle of the master bedroom. It's a closet to the right. And open vanity, because really, who doesn't want to display their toothbrush to the world? And then a room to the right which houses a second vanity, a toilet and tub. I'd love to rip it all out and start again, but budget won't allow. So, what ideas do you have to create some separation between the spaces? Or should I just try to create a nook out of vanity instead? As you can see, I really need some extra storage too!

Frame in the top connecting both walls and than install a set of barn doors to conceal the vanity.

Remove vanity and add floor to ceiling sliding closet doors. Or build a single linen closet next to the current sink area.

If she did that, wouldn’t that leave her master bath without a sink or vanity? We have the same problem

Cheapest solution is just to stick a decorative screen or hang curtains across the opening to the bedroom to conceal the vanity.

If your second vanity in the bathroom is adequate, I'd rip out the vanity in your bedroom and put in storage as suggested by apple_pie_order. Solves your storage needs, looks far better and if, in the future, you can afford to expand your bathroom so that space is incorporated, then do so then. Curtains are going to look silly - especially as you'd have to go through them to GET to the bathroom.
